The University of West Florida is comprised of four divisions, which manage the operations of the institution as well as its direct support organizations.
Academic Affairs Division

The Division of Academic Affairs functions as the primary coordinating unit for academic programs and academic support operations. The division coordinates the allocation of instructional and research funds and other resources, works to improve the quality of instruction, correlates the evaluation of instructions, and establishes policy on faculty appointment, evaluation, promotion and tenure. The mission of the Division of Finance & Administration is to provide, develop and enhance essential internal services and operations of the University. In addition, the division is responsible for advancing an environment and infrastructure that welcomes and encourages external strategic partnerships. Finance and Adminstration houses the Budget & Financial Planning, Business & Auxiliary Services, Facilities Development & Operations, Financial Services (including Procurement, and Business & Property Development units. The Division of Student Affairs is responsible for most of the non-academic components of the student experience at the University. Together, the units that comprise the division provide quality services, programs and facilities that enrich the educational experience of students. University Advancement Division
Vice President, Dr. Brendan Kelly
The Division of Advancement is responsible for the University Marketing & Communications, Development and Alumni Relations departments within the university. In addition, the division houses the UWF Foundation, Inc., whose current endowment investment pool exceeds $60 million; and UWF Historic Trust (formerly West Florida Historic Preservation, Inc.), which is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and interpreting the history of Northwest Florida.
