In the Northwest Florida area, the highest levels of tourism industry employment occurs in the months of April through September. For the year 2010, the number of employed persons in Northwest Florida in the leisure and hospitality sector peaked in June at 51,755 while the lowest level of employed persons occurred in January with 41,617 persons.
Data note: Employment in the Leisure and Hospitality industry includes employment in the Accommodation and Food Services industry and the Arts, Entertainment and Recreation industry.
