Conducted by The Global Corner, "My Summer Passport Around the World" will help your child learn about the language, geography, culture, music and dance, and food of countries around the world - all while having a great summer camp experience. This year, campers will learn about children from Russia AND India: how they eat, live, play, go to school, and celebrate their holidays. All activities are designed to enhance the campers' understanding of how children in other parts of the world live, so that they can see the similarities and differences to their own lives. By helping to broaden the campers' understanding of world cultures, we are planting the seeds that will eventually help them succeed in the global arena - but you don't have to tell your children that. All they need to know is that its an exciting, fun summer camp with lots of cool activities!

The campers will demonstrate knowledge of the similarities and differences in the way children in the US, Russia, and India live through hands-on activities and games. They will also keep a journal of their "My Summer Passport around the World" experience, and participate in the Friday Showcase to share their international knowledge with visitors.
For the final showcase, campers will show a presentation that demonstrates knowledge of countries around the world. This will take place on Friday, at 2:00pm.
