Marine Explorers for grades 7-10
Students will expand their knowledge of marine life including the workings of phytoplankton, and other ocean algae and animals.
The participants will learn about:
- Phytoplankton
- Euglenophyta
- Bacillariophyta
- How to isolate individual species for further study
- Being a "Marine Detective"

Learning Outcomes
Participants will have the opportunity to explore marine life in a college marine lab environment. They will learn about different types of phytoplankton and how to identify them.
Parents and family members are invited to our Friday showcase on June 21st at 2:00pm.
