workers in government agencies and the private sector. The welfare of the employees and
also the cost to Workers' Compensation Insurances are both important issues to Health
and Safety professionals.
Prevention of injuries involves not only the condition of the
employees' work area and facilities, but also the carefulness and preparedness of the employee
as the daily tasks are completed.
