UWF celebrates the grand opening of the Sandy Sansing Sports Medicine Center
The University of West Florida celebrated the grand opening of the Sandy Sansing Sports Medicine Center at the Darrell Gooden Center, a $6 million state-of-the-art facility dedicated to enhancing the quality of care for UWF student-athletes. The Darrell Gooden Center expansion includes areas for student-athletes to warm up and cool down prior to and post practice, receive innovative physical therapy and restorative treatments, additional offices for athletic training and football staff and new team meeting spaces for UWF Athletics.
UWF ranks eighth in nation, first in state on ‘Best for Vets’ list
The University of West Florida came in at No. 8 on the "Best for Vets" college list released by Military Times. This marks the University’s highest ranking on the list to date. UWF was ranked among 304 schools and came in at No. 1 among all Florida institutions.
UWF business students pitch stock recommendations for Argo Growth Fund, discuss future of artificial intelligence
University of West Florida Lewis Bear Jr. College of Business students delivered their stock investment recommendations for the University's student-managed Argo Growth Fund on Nov. 4. During the annual Argo Investments Institute Public Stock Presentation at the UWF Conference Center, after much research and analyzing, students in UWF’s Argo Investments program gave their input on election and AI supply chain stocks.
