Withdrawals

A student may perform or request a withdrawal once the add/drop period for a semester ends. Removal actions performed during a registration period or add/drop are not considered withdrawals; they are “drops”.

Information for withdrawing:

Students are no longer able to drop or withdraw from their last remaining course using the online portal. Please email the Office of the Registrar (registrar@uwf.edu) to drop or withdraw from your final course.

Medical Withdrawal

Medical Withdrawals are processed by the Dean of Students. Students who may qualify for a medical withdraw should submit the Request for Medical Withdrawal and supporting documentation to the Dean of Students Office.

Other types of withdrawals include Withdrawals for Active Duty Military Service and Late Withdrawals.

Please refer to the Withdrawal portion of the Academic Catalog for policies and other important information pertaining to withdrawals.
